General Information

The Paris 2020 European Athletics Championships will take place from 25 to 30 August 2020 at the Charléty Stadium (Paris 13th arrondissement).

The events is composed of 11 sessions. Two sessions will take place each day, with one morning session and one evening session (one single session on Tuesday afternoon).

Three types of tickets are available:

- Single tickets allow you to choose the desired session(s) from among the 11 sessions of the competition (on sale from early 2020).

-Packages (on sale until the end of 2019) include several sessions (minimum of 2) to be composed according to the conditions ruling each type of package. There are 6 different packages: week package / 6 evenings package / 5 sessions package / 3 evenings package / 3 sessions package / day package. Only seats of categories 1, 2 and 3 are included in those packages.

- Tickets for spectators with disabilities are available for purchase and are reserved only for people who need an easy access to the stadium grounds. All our seats for people with disabilities are located in category 4. Please note that you will be asked for a disability certificate when you request for tickets. During your order, you will also have the possibility to add a free ticket for the person coming with you. A valid disability certificate per spectator with a disability will be required at the time of booking.

 

During the Paris 2020 European Athletics Championships, seats in the stadium are divided into four categories.

It should be noted that all morning sessions are in a single category with free placement allowing spectators to move around the stadium during the session (within the limits of the authorized zones).

 

Only children under 16 years of age (on the date of the event) are eligible to the discount rate dedicated to kids. Identification will be required when accessing the venue.

 

License holders of the FFA benefit from a special rate, accessible by creating an account on the ticketing website by providing the information (name, first name, date of birth) that are indicated on their official license.

All buyers must pay their tickets in euros (EUR).

You can choose the block where you want your seat to be located, within the limits of availabilities. 

For the week package, 6 evenings package and day package, the same seat will be automatically allocated for all evening sessions. Placement will be free (in the authorized areas) for morning sessions, and spectators will have the opportunity to move around the stadium during the session (within the authorized areas).

For the 6 sessions package, 3 sessions package and 3 evenings package, a different seat for each session of the package can be selected.

When ordering tickets via the "express purchase" mode, the allocation of seats is done automatically without the buyer being able to select his or her seat(s). As much as possible, tickets within a same order will allow their holders to sit next to each other. Tickets purchased from different orders do not allow their holders to seat next to each other.

 

You may request online a maximum of ten (10) tickets per session.

Group bookings are possible thanks to the booking form available on the website tickets.athle2020.paris or by phone at +33(0)9 70 25 20 00.

 

Buyers must provide the following personal information:

- Last name, first name(s), full address (street number and name, postal code, city and country), date of birth, nationality, e-mail address and telephone number.

Buyers must also provide the following credit card information:

- Credit card numbers (Visa or MasterCard), name (as mentioned on the card) and expiration date (mm/yy).

According to the general terms and conditions of sale of the Paris 2020’s general public ticketing department, each ticket buyer for the Paris 2020 European Championships in Athletics must be over 18 years old.

Orders processed by or for people banned from stadiums by national associations or other authorities will be rejected. The same shall apply to requests made by persons known to have disrupted security during sporting events in the past years.

 

Tickets for the Paris 2020 European Athletics Championships can only be purchased officially on the website tickets.athle2020.paris and on official distribution networks.

My order

If your credit card or bank account cannot be debited for the amount of the invoice, or if your bank cancels the payment for any reason, your order will be cancelled.

 

We strongly recommend that you contact your bank to ensure that they allow your credit card to be charged for the amount due. Please note: your bank may have set a limit for e-commerce transactions that is lower than your credit card limit.

Yes, your order will be accepted regardless of your agreement to the commercial use of personal data. At the end of the registration process, you can specify whether you authorize the transmission of your personal data for commercial purposes. Of course, this authorization is optional and does not play any role in the acceptance of your request or the allocation of tickets.

 

Tickets from the same order will allow their holders to sit next to each other, as much as possible. However, tickets purchased via different orders will not allow you to have seats next to each other. During the booking process and when the buyer himself selects the location of the tickets he acquires, it is his responsibility to ensure that the seats chosen are next to each other.

 

All prices indicated are expressed inclusive of all taxes (including VAT). Value added tax (VAT), at a rate of 5.5%, is therefore included in the price of tickets.

 

Rules applicable when ordering single tickets:

-You can order a maximum of ten (10) tickets.

-You can order tickets for two sessions on the same day.

 

Rules applicable when ordering packages:

-You can order packages for a maximum of ten (10) persons (including yourself and nine other beneficiaries).

-Packages are only available in category 1, 2 and 3. 

 

Rules applicable to spectators with disabilities when ordering tickets:

-You can book a maximum of four (4) tickets per person with a disability (including yourself and a maximum of three other persons with a disability).

-Each ticket for spectator with a disability comes with one free ticket for an accompanying person.

-A valid disability certificate per spectator with a disability will be required at the time of booking.

 

Rules applicable to group bookings:

-Your group must order at least eleven (11) tickets.

Any act of purchase is final. Therefore, a ticket purchased cannot be returned or exchanged. No cancellation or refund is possible according to the Terms and Conditions.

My tickets

A "beneficiary" refers to a family member, close friend, colleague and/or accompanying person of a person with a disability for whom the buyer has ordered a ticket and to whom the ticket can be transferred in accordance with the general conditions of Paris 2020’s general public ticketing department. The "beneficiaries" will have to be informed by the buyer from spring 2020.

 

Take care of your tickets and keep them in a safe place. Exposure to water, dirt, heat or sunlight can damage them. If part of a ticket becomes unreadable, the holder may be denied access to the stadium. No duplicate tickets will be issued by Paris Athlé 2020 for any reason whatsoever.

eTickets will be available on your personal account from summer 2020, provided that the full payment has been received according to the instructions in your confirmation email and within the specified time frame. No duplicate tickets will be issued by the Paris Athlé 2020 for any reason whatsoever. The Paris Athlé 2020 cannot be held responsible for the loss of tickets or late receipt due to a malfunction or interruption of postal services.

Yes, buyers must provide all their information, including first name, last name and date of birth. From summer 2020, buyers will be required to provide the full names of their guests. In the event that a buyer provides false information, Paris Athlé 2020 reserves the right to reject the request or, if necessary, to refuse access to the stadium to the buyer and his guest, without right to any refund. The concerned tickets will be cancelled. Buyers are fully and unconditionally responsible for ensuring that their guest has read and agrees to comply with the general terms and conditions of the Paris 2020’s general public ticketing department. In particular, they are required to provide a copy of the general terms and conditions of the Paris 2020’s general public ticketing department to their guest.

 

Persons with disabilities

According to needs and subject to the submission of a valid disability certificate, a free ticket will be allocated for the accompanying person of a supporter holding a valid ticket for a spectator with a disability (wheelchair spectator seat or easily accessible seat).

 

Persons requesting tickets for spectators with disabilities must certify their eligibility for these tickets when applying. A commonly and widely accepted "disability certificate" in your country of residence must be attached. Out of respect for other supporters, we ask you to request tickets for disabled spectators only if you really need an easily accessible location.

Prepare your visit

Access to Charléty Stadium and attendance at the sessions are governed by the Stadium’s Regulations for the Paris 2020 European Athletics Championships and by any other applicable legislation or regulations. Only holders of a valid ticket who present, upon request, a valid official ID with a photo (ID card, passport or driver's license) may enter the stadium.

 

No one attending a session shall record, use or transmit any sound, image nor description of the stadium or of the event whatsoever (including any results, statistics, information or other data from the event) other than for private use. It is strictly prohibited to broadcast via the Internet, radio, television or any other current or future media technology any sound, image, description, recording, result or statistics of the stadium or of the event, in whole or in part, or to assist any person performing such activities.

Unless expressly authorised by Paris Athlé 2020, animals are not allowed in the stadium.

Opening times of the gates will be communicated at a later date.

Entrance to the stadium will only be allowed upon presentation of a valid ticket for each person, regardless of age. All children must therefore be in possession of a valid ticket to enter the sites and an individual seat is therefore mandatory.

Other

A "buyer" refers to any person having legal capacity who submits a booking order to obtain tickets for the Paris 2020 European Athletics Championships, in accordance with the general conditions of the Paris 2020’s general public ticketing department. The purchaser may order one ticket for himself and, if he wishes, more tickets for other persons ("beneficiaries"). The buyers are fully and unconditionally responsible for ensuring that the beneficiary has read the general conditions of the Paris 2020’s general public ticketing department and that he agrees to respect them. In particular, they are required to provide the beneficiary with a copy of the general terms and conditions of the Paris 2020’s general public ticketing department.

There is no minimum age for children to attend the European Athletics Championships. Please note, however, that entrance at the gates will only be permitted upon presentation of a valid ticket for each person, regardless of age.
